Dessert Reception To Follow

The first Israeli film to explore the painful subject of Israel's 18-year presence in Southern Lebanon, Beaufort dramatically depicts the complex moral and tactical dilemmas facing the young commander of Beaufort Castle, a Crusader-era fortress, during the Israeli Army's unilateral withdrawal from Southern Lebanon in 2000.

-Director Joseph Cedar (Time of Favor, Campfire) won the coveted Silver Bear Award for Best Director at the 2007 Berlin International Film Festival
